Help us with an 8 question survey about our Taoist Tai Chi classes!

The Taoist Tai Chi Society would like your help to determine the best time and place (location) for new classes. We are considering moving our classes into a permanent retail location at a strip mall in the SW corner of Miller and McDowell. This is about 1.5 miles from the 101 Expressway and 2.2 miles from the 202 Expressway.

New Website Features!

We have updated our website to make it easier to find the information you are looking for. We added the upcoming open houses on top of the right column to make it easy to find for first time visitors. We added a full schedule below so that you can see when all of our classes meet and where. Please join us for a class soon.

October Open House and Beginners Class Registration

On Monday, August 7, 2006, we will have an open house at the Inn at Pima. The open house will meet from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. Classes will follow each week at the same time and place. To pre-register for the class, please visit the website or just call us. During the open house, we will be doing a demonstration of the 108 moves of Taoist Tai Chi. We will have a short talk about the health benefits of Taoist Tai Chi and the Society. Finally, we will be spending most of our time learning the first few moves. By the end of the open house, you should have a good idea of how our classes our taught, and we will hopefully have answered all of your questions.

Dress.

Please dress comfortably. We will be introducing the first few moves of Taoist Tai Chi. We recommend comfortable shoes and clothing that permits movement.

Parking.

Parking at the Pima Inn will be very full. There are additional parking lots to the right, behind and around the building. Please use these lots if you can not find a parking spot in the front parking lot.

Registration.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Beginner's class will follow each Saturday for about four months. If you know that you would like to register for classes and become a member, we would like to invite you to arrive as early as 6:00pm to complete the membership registration form. However, we will also be available after the open house for those who wish to register afterwards.

Pre-Registration

If you are interested in trying Taoist Tai Chi, we recommend that you pre-register and attend the open house or the first class. If there is a last minute schedule change, we will contact everyone who is pre-registered by email. At the first class, we will teach the first few moves, talk about the health benefits of Taoist Tai Chi and answer any questions you might have. If class size needs to be limited because of room-size, priority will go to those who have pre-registered. However, pre-registration does not obligate you in any way. You may pre-register by phone or by email.
